Sepamo Terms of Service

Effective date: 13 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Eetu Halonen, an individual developer established in Finland (“we”, “us”), for the use of the Sepamo Android app and the backend service behind it (“Sepamo”, “the service”). By creating a Sepamo account you accept these terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data Sepamo reads and where it goes. It is part of this agreement.

help@sepamo.com is our single point of contact under Articles 11 and 12 of the EU Digital Services Act — for Member State authorities, the Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and for you. Messages to it reach a person, not only an automated system. We accept correspondence in English and Finnish.

Our full trader details, including postal address, are published in the imprint and on our Google Play listing.

What Sepamo is

Sepamo is a personal planning app. You describe what you want to happen; an AI planner turns that into a plan of steps, conditions and reminders that your device then carries out. Sepamo also backs your plans up to your account and syncs them across your devices.

Sepamo is a consumer product for organising your own life. It is not professional advice — not medical, legal, financial, or safety advice — and it is not a medical device. Do not rely on it for anything where being wrong matters.

Your account

AI-generated content

Sepamo’s planner, its occasional suggestions, and its background checks are produced by an AI model. That means:

What you may not do

Sepamo stores the content you create, so a short list of limits applies. You may not use Sepamo to:

Reporting content, and what we do about it

Every AI response in Sepamo has a Report action. Using it sends us the text you objected to and your note, and you get an on-screen confirmation that we received it. This is our notice-and-action mechanism under Article 16 of the Digital Services Act; you can also write to help@sepamo.com.

We review reports and may remove content, restrict a feature, or suspend or terminate an account when these terms are broken or the law requires it. We use no automated content moderation — a person reads every report.

If we restrict anything of yours, we will tell you why, in a clear statement that identifies what was restricted, the ground for it, whether it was required by law or by these terms, and how to disagree (Article 17 DSA). You can contest any decision by replying to help@sepamo.com, and we will look at it again. If we cannot agree, you keep every right described under Your rights as a consumer below.

We will not restrict anything for reasons outside these terms and the law, and we will act proportionately — a single bad generation is not a reason to close an account.

Payment

Sepamo comes in three plans:

Basic and Pro are monthly subscriptions sold through Google Play. Google is the seller of record, so Google’s payment terms, refund policy and subscription management apply to the purchase, and you manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play — not here. Prices are shown in the app, in your Google Play currency, inclusive of VAT, before you buy; they are set per region and are not stated in these terms.

Free trial. Pro offers a 7-day free trial to accounts that have not had one. Unless you cancel in Google Play before the trial ends, it converts to a paid Pro subscription and the first monthly charge is taken at the end of the trial. You can cancel at any point during the trial at no cost. Google’s own trial terms also apply.

When a subscription ends — whether you cancelled, a payment failed, or a trial lapsed — nothing you built is deleted. Your plans stay, and the parts of them that need a higher plan simply pause until you are back on it; everything else keeps running. Your monthly AI allowance is measured against one counter whichever plan you are on, so changing plans mid-month neither resets nor double-counts what you have used.

One purchase entitles one Sepamo account. A purchase already linked to another account cannot be used to entitle a second one.

Sepamo verifies each purchase with Google before applying it. If Google cannot be reached, the app keeps the last plan it verified until it can check again.

What we promise, and what we do not

We will supply Sepamo with reasonable care, keep it reasonably available, and provide the updates — including security updates — needed to keep it working as described, for as long as we offer it. This reflects our obligations under EU Directive 2019/770 on the supply of digital content and digital services, which applies to Sepamo whether or not you pay for it.

If Sepamo does not do what these terms and the app’s description say it does, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity, and, where those remedies fail or are disproportionate, to a price reduction or to end the contract. Nothing here limits those rights.

Two honest limits:

Beyond the mandatory consumer rights described here and in the law of your country, and except for death, personal injury, gross negligence, or intent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may change Sepamo and these terms — to add features, to fix problems, or to follow the law. If a change materially affects you to your disadvantage, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect and, where the law requires it, give you the right to end the contract.

We may stop offering Sepamo. If we do, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data first.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Sepamo and delete your account at any time, for any reason, without notice.

We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service. Except where the breach is serious or immediate action is legally required, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

Your rights as a consumer

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA:

Security

If you find a vulnerability in Sepamo, please report it to help@sepamo.com rather than disclosing it publicly. Our disclosure policy is at sepamo.com/.well-known/security.txt. We will not pursue good-faith security research that respects users’ privacy and does not degrade the service.

Language

These terms are written in English, which is the authoritative version. Translations are provided for convenience; where a translation conflicts with the English text, the English text governs, except where the mandatory law of your country requires otherwise.
